Caregiving

Caregiving

Why do we care?

  • People are hurting more than we realise:

As we go through life, we are impacted by many life experiences such as trauma, grief, marriage breakdown, stress, unloved and abused.

  • It is a command of Jesus:

1 John 3:23 "And this is his command: to believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us"

  • The more we care the greater our impact on the world:

If all we have to offer the world is just "words" then that will make you feel inferior. If you see, however, that what we say is backed up by a lifestyle of caring for one another, then it will make our message irresistible.

Philippians 2:3-4 "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
