Rays of hope

A coming-alongside, uplifting fellowship for cancer patients, their families and survivors.

Cancer comes to steal our health, joy, peace and hope.

But we know that our Father loves us and wants to heal us, restore our peace and joy, surround us with spiritual sisters and brothers and give us hope for the future.

Through the Father’s love and the compassionate understanding of His Son, we receive rays of hope, breaking through what may seem like thick, dark, ominous cloudy skies to shine down on us.

Through the awesome power and presence of the Holy Spirit, His hope lifts us up and carries us through that which He knows will never be too dark for us. He is Light (John 8:12) and He promised that nothing will come our way that we will not be able to overcome (1 Cor 10:13).

However, we are not to store up, nurture and keep this hope for ourselves (Matt 10:8b). It is given so that we can overcome and, even while we might still feel fragile, be rays of hope for those whom our Father brings along our way.
